ruler shortcut

Hello everybody,

the shortcut for copy ruler is ^ apple c (and for paste ruler ^ apple v).

Only: this shortcut doesn’t work. I always get an error tone when I hit this combination of keys.

Or am I looking in the wrong place? Is there maybe a second ^ hidden somewhere on the keyboard?

I need this copy-ruler/paste-ruler command a lot so help is greatly appreciated!

My computer is a 12" iBook G4.

You’re using the Control key, right, and not the ^ which is above the 6 key? In keyboard commands, ^ represents the control key. I’ve used this command and never had any problem with it, but using the 6 key will produce an error as you described.
