Safe to upgrade on macOS 10.13

Hi there,

I am a newbie to this forum though not Scrivener.

I am still on Scrivener 2.2 for Mac and have been using High Sierra OS version 10.13.6 because I’m afraid to upgrade.

Does anyone know:

  1. can I upgrade any further

  2. How do I post other than just replying to someone?

Thanks so much,

Carol P

Mac OS High Sierra will allow you to upgrade to Scrivener 3, which is what we would recommend. Scrivener 3, in turn, is fully supported all the way to Catalina.

Scrivener 2.2 is quite ancient at this point. I’m actually somewhat surprised that it even works: Scrivener 2.9 is the oldest version that is officially supported with High Sierra.

Scrivener 2.9 would be a free upgrade for you; Scrivener 3 is a paid upgrade, and you’d be entitled to a discount.
