I’ve been using the trial version just to test it out and found something a bit weird. If the inspector is open and I click on something else on my task bar such as my browser the main Scapple program will minimize but the inspector will stay wherever it was sitting and therefore blocking out my webpage or whatever I went to. If I specifically minimize Scapple (using the - button or click on Scapple in the task bar) the inspector will do as expected and go with it.
If I remember right that is a problem with floating windows like that. There wasn’t a really good way to solve it with the programming toolkit we use. Note you can choose to embed the inspector in the side of the window, instead of as a floating panel, in options, then it follows the window’s visibility rules.
