Scrapple doesn't work on high res?

Scrapple is awesome.

It’s almost perfect, but I discovered one major flaw - when I tried to open my project on my laptop instead of my desktop, all the little cards were squashed together and overlapping, and I can’t find any way to fix it.

I have a very high res laptop (a Lenovo yoga) and other programs have display issues - is there any plan to find a fix for this?

Apologies if this has already been asked - I did scan through, but couldn’t find anything.

Have you tried adapting the similar fix for Scrivener to Scapple?

You would do the same steps for the registry, but the manifest file would be renamed to scapple.exe.manifest and be placed in the Scapple folder.

I don’t use Scapple regularly, but I just tried it on my Windows 10 Surface Pro 3 with external monitor, and it seems to be doing the trick nicely.

Thanks for your reply!
To be honest I get a bit spooked about anything that starts with ‘regedit’ - I’m always worried that I’ll do something wrong and make the entire computer explode - though perhaps that’s a little over cautious.
I’ll see how I get on and whether I decide its urgent enough to get my hands dirty…
Thanks again for taking the time to answer.

If you like, I’ve created a .reg file that makes the necessary entry in the Registry. I’ve tested it out on my systems. Simply double-click the .reg file and give permission, and the entry is created. Then you can follow the rest of the steps for the manifest file.

Golly, that’s kind of you - but I can’t see any attachment? Am I looking in the wrong place?

PreferExternalManifest.txt (314 Bytes)

Thanks! You’re an exceptional human being : ) I shall try it and let you know how I get on.

I don’t know whether this worked for anyone here, but I tried this (see my post at [url]https://forum.literatureandlatte.com/t/scapple-high-dpi-support/31250/3]), without any luck.
