I am using the latest Windows regular version (not the Beta). I would like to have the writing area centered in the editor, with ‘dead’ space on either side. Currently, it’s locked to the left and I can’t seem to find a way to change that.

Also, I understand that in the Mac version, there are multiple available screen layouts, so I could have the Inspector on the left, next to the Binder. Are these not available in the Windows version at all? All I can find is the split-screen option, which isn’t the same thing at all.

The Mac version cannot move the inspector pane from the right side. You must be seeing/thinking of something else. Maybe it’s an outline view next to the binder, with some optional columns enabled?

Altering the Options / Editor and then Editor margins gives a bit more ‘dead space’ around your text. Dragging the binder and inspector sides allows you to position your editor more centrally. And that’s about it.
