Screenplay formatting

Hi Keith,
I’m starting on a screenplay for the first time and feeling my way around though I’m already loving the way you’ve set up that side of Scrivener. Glad also to see you’re using the American format with Letter paper rather than A4. My question is how you put wrylies in - those bits of text in brackets before dialogue that explain how the words are said. They are supposed to have a standard indent but maybe there’s another name for them. I notice you used them in your Sample Script.

Many thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

Glad you’re liking it. Just hit tab after the character name or after a piece of dialogue to move to parenthetical text.

Hope that helps!

All the best,
Keith
