I’m running Windows 7, and have encountered an issue in the Screenplay mode when working with auto-complete of character names.
To manually add names, I highlighted ‘Character’ and added two names to the auto-complete section in the ‘script settings’ window. When I’m writing dialogue, the names I entered show up as character names just fine. However, when I hit ‘enter’ after one of the character names shows up, the cursor disappears beneath the bottom of the screen. I’m writing in ‘typewriter’ mode to keep everything in the center of the screen, by the way. When the cursor disappears, the typewriter mode seems to temporarily go away as well, and the entire page shifts down, filling the screen with text.
As soon as I start typing dialogue, the screen shifts back up to typewriter mode and everything is reset to the center of the screen.
