Dusting off Scrivener for Camp NaNoWriMo 2016, and plan to work on a screenplay this camp. Before today, I’ve used Celtx for all my screenplay writing. But, since I switched to Scrivener for NaNoWriMo, and have it on both my Mac and Windows machines, I’ve decided to try and use it for writing my script too.
I just fired it up, and ran into something odd. The Title Page template uses $fullname for the writer’s name, and $projecttitle for the name of the script. The issue is that it’s mining the computer’s user name, rather than my normal name, and the latter is using the actual name of the computer file.
Because of my naming convention, both don’t make any sense. How does one correct those so that they appear in the proper format, short of editing the actual template file, or manually editing the variable in each project?
