This feed-back is about the pop-up window showing ‘Scene Heading’, ‘Action’, ‘Character’… in script mode :

In scrivener 2, the pop-up window moves in a jerky way from the left side of the screen to the right when one switches from one element to the other (e.g. from ‘Action’ to ‘Character’), as shown here (GIF) : imgur.com/HrE4CTu
While selecting an element, the cursor moves and the pop-up window follows.
I’d really like to have this pop-up window stays at the same place during the selection, as it works in Final Draft : imgur.com/Etjp7Pm
First, one selects the element. Then, the pop-up window disappears and the cursor moves to the right place.
Moreover, the selection in final draft is on a loop : after the last element (‘Cast list’) comes the first one (‘General’).
Scrivener way is very disturbing for my eyes.
Moreover, the goal of such a feature is to be able to select the elements (action, character…) faster. Searching the screen to know where the pop-up window is seems to me as a waste of time.
A minor issue indeed. But ease of writing/using Scrivener is about this.
Keep on the good work. I like Scrivener very much.
