Script Mode [split from BUG REPORTING: Please read...]

Scrivener V 2.2 in Script mode on Macbook using OS 10.6.8
I’m in split screen mode.
When typing in the BOTTOM of the two screens and using the keyboard shortcuts S A C D C (with fn key) the corresponding action only happens in the TOP screen.
This is not a problem when I’m typing in he TOP screen i.e. works as predicted.
Also no problem if I operate dialogue box in bottom right hand corner using the mouse.

Hi Steven,

I’ve split this into a new post (please start new posts for bugs rather than replying to the announcement post, thanks).

The correct shortcuts sequence for using the script shortcuts is shift-cmd-Y to open the menu and then hit the key (“S”, “A” etc). The Function button is only available on laptops and its behaviour is defined by OS X - the fact that it opens the menu at all is just an OS X oddity, over which I have no control.

You can also use the opt-cmd-1 - 9 shortcuts for script elements.

Thanks and all the best,
Keith
