Hello!
I have two computers: a MacBook 4,1 (early 2008, white) running Snow Leopard*, and a PC running Windows 10. I have Scrivener in both of them, and need them to be compatible, as I have no other backup computer. The thing is, Scrivener 2.8.1.2 is the last available release for Snow Leopard, and it won’t open projects created in Scrivener for Windows 1.9.14.0. I tried downgrading to SfW 1.9.0 but it wouldn’t accept my license (probably due to the recent change in vendors? And if it makes a difference, my SfW license is from July 2015).
I realize I’m in something of an unusual situation, and that there may not be anything to be done in this case, but maybe I’m wrong? It’s not the end of the world, as the Windows version is capable of opening Mac projects, but it is less than ideal.
- I won’t be upgrading the OS because of some PPC apps.
