So Scrivener 3.0 didn’t run on the old Mac(El Capitan) and Scrivener 2.9 won’t run on this new Mac (Catalina). Is an upgrade to 3 required? I am mostly a Linux under wine guy, so I wanted to see where the Beta was supposed to go. Supposedly kerning works better for e-books on the Mac, so that is why I got a new one.
Go V3 Mac. It is well worth the upgrade.
Apple ended 32-bit support in Catalina, so Scrivener 2.9 will not run.
