Scrivener 3.1 - Themes

Hi Scrivener Team,

I like the new “Theme” feature on Scrivener 3.1 and see, it is possible to “import” new themes, too.
But how can I create my own themes to import them and to make them appear in the menu?
Is there a special format required?

Greetings,
Thomas

You can save your own themes from the Preferences pane, using the Manage button along the bottom. From there you could also remove any of the examples we provided if you don’t like them.

As for how to make them: Appearances preference pane. You don’t need to edit text files or whatnot, just go through the colour options. You can also specify fonts, though when you save a theme you will be given the choice to omit font settings. See also, §B.1.1, Preference Presets and Themes.

Have fun!

Thank you Amber. I totally oversaw it down there under the “manage” button.
Now let’s rock some themes!
Greetings,

On this, I did almost add a “New Theme…” item to the “Themes” menu. It then occurred to me that this would be quite useless, since the only place you can set up themes is in the Preferences anyway.
