Scrivener and Bidirectional Links (Obsidian/Roam/Logseq)

On the Mac, the switch-keyboard-languages keystroke is Ctrl-Space. Since with Ventura, the Mac Interface has moved in the direction of iOS/iPadOS (System Settings, no longer System Preferences) maybe they’ll end up producing a keyboard mimicking the iOS/iPadOS on-screen keyboard, bringing back the touch-bar for the purpose!

:joy:

I highly recommend it. IMHO, it’s essential kit for Scrivener. I’ve used it for tasks large and small. From remapping keyboard shortcuts to reformatting FDX file exports. Keyboard maestro is a super-power for your Mac.

I suspect this and all related reflects back to Apple/Steve’s decision very-long-ago to not have an Escape key at all.

The solution for all the discomforts registered was, and still is, clover-period will get you Escape. This continues on the iPad/Magic Keyboard I’m typing with, so time may say it is likely to remain safe

My Mac keyboard has an Escape key. The iOS glass keyboard does not, though, nor does my (Apple) external iOS keyboard.
