I apologize if this is not the right forum for this, but does anyone
know when we might see a version of scrivener that is compatible
with the new Windows 10, now in beta?
I tried to install it a few days ago and was mildly surprised to get
a message that said it “could not be installed on this operating system”.
I should have tried again before posting: I just tried the latest Scrivener Installer (1.8.6.0) on the latest Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview (build 10041) and it seems to both install and to run. I’ve been testing it against the tutorial project and it all seems good! Nice.
What are your thoughts about Windows 10, if I may ask? Did you update from 7 or 8(.1)? Striking differences that you’ve noticed? I’m looking forward guardedly to the free update MS claims they’ll be giving everyone later this year.
