Scrivener Crash

Should I simply re-install / download or wait for technical assistance.

I don’t know if this helps but I had a crash problem after installing for the first time –but have just fixed it. Spotlight had not been maintaining a full index –when searching for applications they did not appear in the spotlight search box. If this also happens to you, try going to spotlight settings, adding your main drive as an exception (not to be indexed), then removing it again –so that spotlight has to reindex the drive (may take an hour or two). I did this (just to get spotlight to work properly), and it turns out that after this Scrivener has no crash problems –constantly crashing before.
