Scrivener - diacritical marks

Hi!

I just downloaded a 30-day trial version of Scrivener, the software is wonderful, and I would like to buy the registered version, it’s just that I am unable to use the diacritical marks for my language - Latvian. Is there any way I could have this feature?

Diacritical marks should work the same as in TextEdit. What are you trying and what isn’t working?

I have tried, for example, ā š č ņ ļ but instead it writes ‘A ‘s ‘c ‘n ‘l. If I use TextEdit or Neo Office the diacritics wrk as supposed to. Any suggestions?

Just to clear it ot - the dicritical marks work in the corkboard mode, but not in the title page and scene views. I have tried to change the font, it didn’t help.

Hi,

Try turning off typographer’s quotes in the Text Editing preferences. Does that help?
