Scrivener.exe has stopped working

That is the message I get –

I occasionally can get it to open, and when I do, everything is fine or appears to be.

Six or seven times it gives me that message (“Scrivener.exe…”)

I use my Dropbox to work on Scrivener from the cloud (I have an Acer Netbook at home)-- i get the same message about the stopped working at about the same rate. I cannot detect any patterns.

Any ideas?

I did install the updated version today, it seems to have gone fine.
