Scrivener for the Apple Watch!

No, I’m kidding!

Heh heh, but I was waiting for this!

Very good - made my day!

I am reminded of the classic April 1, 1981 Byte magazine cover:

Thanks. I’d forgotten that Byte cover.

But we must have Scrivener for the Apple Watch! I MUST be able to read my documents by swiping one word at a time. Squinting is essential to my workflow.

Don’t be silly.

It’ll use bluetooth headphones, voice commands and dictation, obviously.

“WatchScriv, show Inspector”
“WatchScriv, select next Document”
“WatchScriv, change Document Status to ‘garbage’.”

No no, my sources indicate that the watchlet app will just be a companion to the desktop version of Scrivener, and will continuously monitor and react to the writers lifesigns. This new version of Scrivener (internal code name: Taptic Fantastic Scriv’ner) will actually be able to detect and respond to the presence of your inner editor as well as your inner critic – shutting them down in seconds instead of the days or weeks it used to take in the bad old days. It will also tell you that you really ought to go to bed. This watchlet app will be called ‘Scwatch’. As a bonus you will be able to send your heartbeat to your work-in-progress.

Dirty little buggar! :open_mouth: Filthy habit! Y’ll go blind if you keep doing that! Where will y’ be then!? You’ll need a USB 3 cable from the watch, plugged straight up your nose an into your brain, if the watch is gonna be any use t’ you. tch! tch! wot y’ like? :open_mouth:
