In the last few days my Scrivener projects have started to hang up for 4-5 seconds every few minutes. I have not noticed a particular pattern except its regularity. I have stopped the automatic back-up and any other software that could be causing troubles, but no joy. All the other programs are running fine (Word etc) with no hang ups so I believe it is limited to Scrivener. Any ideas? This is breaking my heart because I am working on a tight deadline on a dissertation for the end of the month. Scrivener is a great product and I have been using it for a number of years - first problem I have ever experienced. Thank you kindly for your consideration.
I have the same problem. I cannot pinpoint any trigger and have also tried no auto save but the problem continues. Version 1.8.5
By any chance, does this particularly happen when you’re using Scrivenings mode on the Draft folder with a somewhat big project? If it does, it may be related to this bug.
