I just reinstalled, or tried to anyway, on a new Mac Mini. I did so by dragging the downloaded file to the Applications folder, like I always do, and putting a shortcut on the bottom of the screen. When I click on the shortcut, I get an error message that Scrivener is not correctly installed. Clicking on ‘install and relaunch’ does not fix the problem.
Scrivener version 3.2.3
Mac OS Ventura 13.2
Thanks for any suggestions.

Did you drag the entire installer DMG? Or did you drag the Scrivener application out of the disk image folder to your Applications folder? The second option is what you want.
Full installation instructions are here: Installing Scrivener or Scapple for macOS / Purchasing and Installation / Knowledge Base - Literature and Latte Support
I downloaded the installer DMG, clicked on it, which brought up a window with the Scrivener icon and an icon for the applications folder, and dragged the one to the other. I’ve tried deleting and repeating that process a couple of times, with no change.
Are you able to launch directly from the Applications folder, rather than the Dock shortcut?
Yep. That fixed it. Thank you.
