What version of macOS and Scrivener? All up to date?
I’m running macOS 13.2.1 and Scrivener 3.2.3 with no issues.
Does your Activity Log give any clues? Where are the Scrivener project packages located, e.g. in a Dropbox or other sync’ed folder or in the local file system not synced? Any recent upgrades of Scrivener and/or macOS?
Mine’s all up to date. I save them in local file system. I think I pretty much did everything I could, resetting my mac and reinstalling the app yet it still doesn’t work.
Two things that might be going on: (a) your Preferences/Settings file might have got corrupted; (b) the User Interface file might have got corrupted.
For (a), with Scrivener closed, open your user library (in Finder, hold down Opt and click “Go” to find it) move com.literatureandlatte.scrivener3.plist out of`/Library/Preferences/ onto your desktop so you can re-instate it if this doesn’t help; then open Scrivener, which will create a new Preference/Settings file. If that works, you have to go through it setting up all your preferences again; if it doesn’t help, delete the new file and move the old one back.
For (b), resetting the UI, I can’t remember off the top of my head how you do it… I’ve never had to do it myself. But I think there may be a Knowledge Base article about it; it has certainly come up on other threads here, so you could do a search of the forums.
It’s very late here, and I’m going to bed, so I’ll leave that to you!
