Scrivener quitting unexpectedly when trying to edit existing footnotes

Hello,
I hope you are well.
I am writing a non fiction book, and I need to use footnotes. Since I updated to the latest Scrivener version, I have problems with it quitting unexpectedly, just by trying to write in the footnotes already there. This happens several times per day. Fortunately so far I haven’t lost work, but it worries me that I could end up with a corrupted file.
Any idea of what could I be doing wrong? I am using Sequoia (15.7.2), as I always wait a bit to update to the new OS. My manuscript is heavy, with lots of research, documents, bookmarks, images and tables, but, I don’t have performance issues, apart from this footnotes problem.
Thanks in advance

What version of Scrivener, and what does the crash report say?

Other projects, too, or just this one?

Hi, v. 3.5.1, “Scrivener quitted unexpectedly” (I haven’t looked at the detail of the crash report); I will next time. This is the only project that I am working with currently that has footnotes (and have been for a while), so I cannot tell if it is a generalised problem. Thanks.

Hi, I hope you are well, here the summary of the report. Thanks and regards.
