Scrivener still freezes

I uninstalled and moved my anti-virus software to the trash, and Scrivener still freezes whenever I try to save the tutorial. I have to force quit. Is anyone having this problem?

When you say you’re trying to save the tutorial, do you mean for the first time? If so, at what stage precisely does it crash? After you click the “Continue” button on the explanation screen, before the file save dialogue box comes up? After you select a name and location? Does the project window come up at all or does it crash before then?

Otherwise, if you mean saving it in general after you’ve created it, what menu command or keyboard shortcut are you using to do this?
