Scrivener UI resizes when moved between screens

Observe the “About Windows” window above (you can run winver to open it), which scales correctly across multiple screens. If Scrivener handles scaling correctly, the relative size of Scrivener’s text and controls to the About Windows window should always be consistent. Obviously, Scrivener can’t do that.

Scrivener always zooms out when it needs to be zoomed in and zooms in when it needs to be zoomed out.

And Obsidian vs Scrivener, Obsidian is Correct

I’m seeing this issue (or something much like it), too. I use Scrivener on a display at 150% scaling. Any time the screen goes to sleep, it seems to revert to 100% scaling (i.e. everything is very small.) It persists even after exiting and restarting the app. The only fix I’ve found is to go into the OS and change the scaling to 100% and then back to 150%. It would be great if the app could handle these OS settings correctly.

  1. Expand the Scrivener app to full screen.
  2. Use Win+Shift+Left or Right Arrow.
  3. It will be like switching normal M365 apps.

It’s the only thing that works with switching between disparate monitor displays at this time on S3 for Windows, where you don’t need to fiddle with your usual monitor setups.
