Hi, all. Long time and very happy Scrivener user here.
Is there any idea of when Scrivener may be updated for Ventura? I see it hasn’t had an update since October last year and I’ve had some crashing of recent.
Thanks!

Scrivener 3.2.3 on macOS 13.0.1 works fine here. Crashes are probably due to underlying system? Hard to tell.
Thanks for the quick response.
I was more concerned about the app not being updated. A year is always bad news!
I too have been using it on 13.0.0–13.0.1 and have not had any crashes. There have been reports here of Scrivener being deemed corrupted on first installing Ventura but easily corrected; on the other hand, there are problems with Stage Manager, which is down to an Apple bug, also affecting other apps, for which KB has not yet provided a workaround.
So I agree with @rms, I’d look elsewhere on your set up; and in Scrivener try: resetting the search index; if that does nothing resetting the preferences; and if that doesn’t sort it resetting the UI (see other threads on how to do all that). If none of that works, open a support ticket.

I can also confirm that repeated crashing is not a known issue with macOS 13.
Instability after a major OS upgrade is not terribly uncommon though, and in my experience typically has to do with out of date utilities or other helper software that might be modifying how other programs work (inserting contextual menu commands, monitoring keystrokes, etc.). Just make sure to go through everything you have installed, especially those things that launch automatically or that you always have running, and check for compatibility updates.
Thanks, Amber. Great insights.
