When I run the exe in Program Files\Scrivener3 I get a popup saying
Scrivener is not running from its installed location.
The installed location is
c:\Program Files\Scrivener3Beta
How do I get rid of the beta and just use the latest version?
Friendly reminder : → Don’t forget to save your preferences (etc) to file before installing from scratch.
I think that in your case you should uninstall both the beta and 3.1.5, and then reinstall the latest official version.
My one concern about uninstalling is loss of data. I keep the data on Dropbox. Does the uninstall leave all that stuff alone?
Projects are unaffected.
But save your preferences, compile formats, etc.
