If I understand right it’s known issues of Scrivienir Software sinse 2017. And knowbody going to FixIt ( Yes It is not Google problem it’s problem of way scruivienir work with file system ) or even Alert Customers
Liers - Thay said that Word or Office files not enought complex …
No, it’s a known issue with every cloud system other than Dropbox, with Google probably being the worst, not an issue with the Scrivener application.
There have been multiple times the L&L team have warned customers about issues with synching to any platform other than Dropbox. As they point out, Zip files for backups don’t present a problem.
Just a suggestion, Calling the L&L team liars is hardly going to get you anywhere.
Sorry, I have computer science education. This article about “Bad sync software” is just demonstrate LOW competence in development.
And I am know what I am saing about.
Think about that - MS World easily could operate 100 + Mb sized files (much more complicated that “scrivx”) and not corrupt anything, But scrivx 200 Kb files regullary corrupted in almost All cloud sync software.
FYI In DropBox where implemented some workaround for dealing with old USUPPORTED software But this application has problem even with it.
So find competent developer ( Even If yuo used to very bad programming style it wil not take more than 2 weeks) to fix bug which cost you new customers weeks of work.
To be liers enought a fact that you know about this bug and don’t say you customers ON FIRST PAGE OF MANUAL. in trouble shoting section and so on.
So do I. One thing I’ve learned in the intervening years between that degree and my real-world experience is that a Comp Sci or related degree doesn’t make a person any less wrong when they don’t understand a problem.
You don’t know what you’re talking about, and you’re not impressing anyone with your arrogant insults.
I see just ignorance

See attachments and fire or send to school you developers.
It’s just a BUG in you code or in code of component you are using …
Hi cless75,
Since you didn’t mention it, I’m assuming you are on Windows Scrivener 1.9.16.
These symptoms (corrupted Binder) are usually due to an incomplete sync of your .scriv project file, although it’s possible it was something else.
You can probably recover your words. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to your project folder. Inside the project folder will be Files folder, inside that will be Docs folder.
Docs folder contains all your documents(.rtf), notes (.rtf) and synopsis (.txt) files. You can copy from there to wherever you like.
Best,
Jim
