I don’t know if this is even remotely feasible in the most wild dreams imaginable… but I put it out there just for the heck of it…
My personal dream: That Google Docs and Scrivener could join forces to create the ultimate creative tool
I was using Google Docs for awhile before I heard of Scrivener a couple weeks ago. I REALLY love Google Docs for researching stuff on the web. It is heaven for this purpose… but it is difficult to organize a lot of documents in Google Docs… their UI for organizing isn’t great.
So I heard of Scrivener and have been trying it out… it seems great for organizing/outlining and setting up windows to work… but I don’t know if I am using it wrong or just haven’t figured out a good work flow yet… but the ability to import my research seems like a pain and it seems a lot of stuff won’t even fully import.
The only thing I wonder about is if this would be too much for a lower end PC to handle… this may be why Scrivener seems so limited in how it imports graphic intense files lthat are created in Google Docs? Or maybe I just haven’t figured out how to use it right?
Someone has a site where they talk about using Scrivener and Evernote together… but I don’t know if this would be much better or different than using Scrivener and Google Docs together independently…
