Search/Replace with Regular Experssions in Windows

Hello,

Any pointers to searching/replacing with regular expressions in windows? My quick searches show this feature is not in windows, is this correct?

Would my best option be to export as text and import into another utility?

Thanks

Correct, it’s not currently possible to run a RegEx search in Scrivener on Windows. Your best alternative really depends on what you’re searching for and why. Copy and paste or export to another program might do what you need to let you find instances that you could then search for using another method in Scrivener so as to make the edits there. Or if this is something that can wait until you’re finished with the Scrivener portion of the process, you could perhaps compile with whatever settings you’d usually use, then take that to another program for a more rigorous search without needing to worry about getting the changes back to Scrivener.

Thank you, that is a good suggestion.
