I would appreciate extending the zipping process to include encrypting the zip automatically with a password chosen at the time of the “security save” or one that is entered once in the software and exists in hashed format. Most zip libraries include this functionality and I would like to see 256-bit AES that is compatible with standardized products such as WinZip, PKZip, etc. This would permit using cloud storage (such as dropbox) in a secure, automated and transparent manner.
Also, I would suggest that the automated reply to the forum registration not include both the username and the password because it is sent “in clear” and can be intercepted at multiple traverse points on the web. Something the Russians and Chinese do on a regular basis.
