First of all, Scrivener is wonderful!
One minor request regarding text-editing pane. I’d dearly love it if you could optionally choose to have triple-click select sentence, rather than paragraph.
Then, quadruple-click could select paragraph. Or else option-triple click could select paragraph.
Or, the other way around: option-triple click could select sentence, and the others could remain the same.
But the ability to select a sentence by mouse click would be really nice.
Scrivener just uses the standard OS X text system (the same one used in TextEdit), so this sort of behaviour is programmed by Apple, not me. AmberV, or another power OS X user, may be able to help you better than I can on how to do this sort of thing with the text system.
Oh, and thanks for the kind words about Scrivener.
To my knowledge, there are no internal hooks that allow sentence selection. There are quite a few “undocumented” text manipulation features, but that is not one of them. The best you can do is wait for Leopard, or file a request with Apple. The easiest way to do this currently is to either: Double-click with the mouse and quickly select the sentence by word, or use the Opt-Right/LeftArrow keys.
