If I compile a Scrivener project and then convert it to an ebook - or Kindle format - can I then email the final file to someone who does not have Scrivener for them to upload to their Amazon account? Or do I have to upload it for them? I am doing some joint authoring with my brother and I would like to use Scrivener, but he is more comfortable just using Word.
Sure, at that point it is just a file that anyone can read and make use of. Mobi is a less supported format, but can still be thought of as being similar to a .doc or .rtf file once you compile it. It’s a file you can e-mail, open on another computer, upload to this or that, whatever you need.
Thanks for that, I will try it out.
