Hello, I’m fairly new to Scrivener, but am finding it incredibly useful. I’ve just discovered the facility for setting progress targets, which would be very useful for the audio drama I’m writing at the moment. However, it seems I can only set a target for the project as a whole, rather than individual scenes. Is this the case? There isn’t a target icon at the bottom of the screen when I’m working on a scene, although there is when I’m working on something like a character note.
Yes, this is correct. Document targets are only available for non-script mode. This is mainly because it’s only possible to set individual document targets as word or character targets (not page targets - because of the way your manuscript can be arbitrarily divided in Scrivener, there’s no way to have meaningful page count targets for individual documents), which, to the best of my knowledge, aren’t useful for scripts. (It also makes room for the scriptwriting footer elements.)
