Set Text as Title

Scrivener 3 doesn’t have a command to set the selected text as title for a document? I found this a useful command in Scrivener 2.

It sure does—it might have moved around a bit though. The command is Documents ▸ Auto-Fill ▸ Set Selected Text as Title.

Thanks! For some reason, that menu item doesn’t show up when I type ‘title’ into the Help Search box.

Yeah, that search tool sometimes requires a little priming if there are a lot of menu entries with that word, as it has a cap on how many results it provides. If you use this as an alternative to keyboard shortcuts, try a non-linear sequence, like “set title” or even “au ti” (from “auto” and “title”).
