I’m hoping someone can give me some guidance here. I’ve spent hours reading forums, official tutorial docs, and noodling around in the app itself (ie. trial and error).
I would like to format my next story with numbered “subsections” within individual chapters (similar to how Stephen King formats a lot of his novels). So, it would look something like this in Scrivener:
Draft
Chapter 1 (Folder)
-1
-2
-3
Chapter 2 (Folder)
-1
-2
-etc
However, the trouble is, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the document titles (“1, 2, 3,” etc) to appear in the compiled file. I tried setting up the subsections as folders, which kind of worked, expect that it messed up the page breaks and so there was no way (that I could figure out) to get a break between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.
I’m probably overcomplicating this, but I’m really at a loss for how to achieve this formatting. It feels like it should be simple, but I’ve hit a wall.
Is this style of formatting possible with the iOS app?
