Sharing my Scrivner program with another party

I’m a tech idiot and can’t figure out how to compile and export my manuscript to the Publisher. My Publisher wants me to just send my Scrivener program to them so they can control my program and do the compiling themselves. Would the easiest way be for the Publisher to download Scrivener and use my license in order to access my program, or is there other or better ways to accomplish that?

Easier, yes. They should download themselves. If they will only have a limited time engagement with you, they have 30 days of use to use the trial version, which is just like the full version, but with a limited time to try it out.

The license doesn’t cover sharing it with professional associates (unless they’re family living in the same home as you).

Assuming the publisher is a business entity, then yes, as Rdale says, they can try it for free for 30 days. If that’s not long enough, they should pay the paltry price for the program and use it as professionals ought to do. IMHO.

To send your project, use the File -> Backup -> Backup To command, and check the box to create a ZIP backup.

For the Scrivener application yes, they should have their own license.
