Should outliner be showing a progress bar here?

Basically I have this setup:

Manuscript
-Folder (with target word count)
–Chapter (with target word count)
–Chapter (with target word count)
-Folder (with target word count)
–Chapter (with target word count)
–Chapter (with target word count)

In outline mode I can see the progress bar for the chapters.

However, if I go up a level to where just the folders are being shown, word count is 0 and the progress bar is empty.

And oddly, in the Scrivenings view it counts the total.

Am I just setting something up incorrectly, or is this a bug?

EDIT: I have no idea why the images are cutting off the word count part, but if you go to the link or open in a new tab it shows for me.

It doesn’t show progress for folders.

If you want to see a word count for all the subdocs in a folder - you have to turn on the Total Word Count column.

Brilliant, thanks!

Apparently I was a bit over brief in my response.

You actually can get a progress bar for folders - if the folder contains its own text. (I never put text on a folder, so I forgot about that.)
