Does anyone know why there is a big blank block (see attached screenshot, between “Collections” and “Updated Documents”) when I enable “Show Collections”?
What version of MacOS? What version of Scrivener?

Hover your mouse over the separator line that appears under the word “Binder”.
When the cursor changes to a double-arrow sign, select it and then push upwards to close / resize the space.
Does that work?
I have seen exactly this, but with only one line. Using the minus sign to delete the “collection” corrected the issue.
Yeah, it just looks to me like you dragged the split down further than it needs to be. Kind of like how if you drag the vertical binder divider all the way over to the right side of the screen, there is a huge blank block (unless you have long titles).
