Hi! Is there a built-in in Scrivener for showing what word the cursor is at? That is, how many words precede it, kind of like line number, but for words?

The footer bar below the text editor will show you the selected text word count, should you make a selection. So by extension, if you select from the current point all the way to the top (⇧⌘↑ on Mac, or ⇧⌃Home on Windows), that’ll give you your word count up the cursor. When you’re done, tap the → key to move the cursor back to the right end of the selection (or where you started from).
