Any chance we will see scrivener automatically download new versions of files from SimpleText.ws?
That way, people who have ideas on the go for specific projects can return to Scrivener to have their notes automatically synced.
Afraid not. It has the potential to be destructive - simpletext.ws only stores plain text files, whereas the user may have applied formatting to the original document. Also, plain text files have no way of storing information about the document with which they are associated in Scrivener. All of Scrivener’s documents have an internal ID number, so this information would need retaining somewhere. But even if that were possible (for instance by using it in the file name on simpletext.ws, or by having it at the top of the file), each Scrivener project could have a file with that same ID, and simpletext wouldn’t know which project it applied to, so it could end up overwriting the wrong file.
