Probably seems trivial but the software is really good… I’m often writing for periodicals and such that have word count limits and it’d be nice if the word count target feature could have an audible sound (perhaps) when hitting around 70% complete and another when 100% complete.
Thanks
BTW, Everyone I’ve recommended this software to, has liked it and loved it and my PC friends are jealous
In 2.0 you will be able to use Growl notifications for when you hit a target - so using Growl you can set it up to play a sound or notify you with a pop-up. It will be limited to hitting or going back under target though, and won’t work for partial targets.
Thanks a ton, that’s exactly what I was hoping for.
And not to get off topic, I love recommending scrivener. Here a couple of members of another forum I’m on and their response to my suggestions.
“I just decided to try scrivener, at first I thought it was very much like my notebook (she’s referring to circus ponies notebook) thing with a couple of cosmetic differences. Well thank you, I really like it. I am going to transfer my notes into it and will buy it when my 30 days are up. Really neat piece of software.”
And a windows friend:
"Scrivener looks like an awesome app, I wish it was available for PC’s… "
Of course you already have enough awards you didn’t need me telling you that.
