Small glitch with the binder

Hi Scrivener community!

Yesterday, while working on my writing project in Scrivener, I inadvertently pressed a key on the lower left-hand part of my keyboard, and some tabs appeared on the top of my binder.

It looks like it created a New Collection, but now I don’t know how to delete it. Or at least I’m afraid to make another mistake I could regret. It must be something very simple, but I’m still not familiar with all the Scrivener functions.

Thanks for helping me if you can.

Best regards,

Julie

Click on the “Binder” tab to make sure you’re viewing the binder, and not a collection, then cick on the “collections” icon above the binder area (the second icon from the left), the collections view will be hidden.

If you want to tidy things up first, select the “New Collection” collection and then click on the minus sign to the upper right above it.

Thanks a lot rdale!

Time for me to watch some tutorials and really master my Scrivener! I only had to click on the New collection and delete it, I was afraid of losing my regular binder… Of course it did not delete anything.

Best regards,
Julie
