A small bug in the German edition of scrivener 2.6. In the window of the text statistics, word frequency all the German words are written with small letters, also a lot of words in German language are capitalized. Not a great problem, however. See screenshot.
I would guess this is desired behaviour and Scrivener “normalises” all words to lower case before the word count. This way for example the German article “das” appears only once in the list, no matter whether it was written “Das” (at the beginning of a sentence), “das”, or even “DAS”. It is slightly problematic for words where the noun and verb form are the same besides different capitalisation, like “essen” and “Essen”, but there is no good way to capture all cases correctly.
