Snapshot of all documents[NOTED]

I am relatively new to using Scrivener, and used it throughout NaNoWriMo 2010. I love it -and- I won. So double score. I was shown how to take snapshots of my work as a way to back versions up and have been doing this religiously. Now that i look back at some of the files (i saved a whole new scrivener project daily) I can’t find any of those snapshots.

I did a little experiementing, and perhap it is just that I am not super familiar with the program, but everytime I chose:

Snapshot of all documents - nothing happens

When I chose:

Snapshot of this document - I hear the sound of a camera clicking -and- when i check the snapshot folder there is a snapshot of the file i took a pic of. But these are only of the individual page that I chose.

There is nothing for the snapshot of all documents.

I had to open every single individual text file and chose snapshot of this file in order to get a backup snapshot file.

I searched only the first 3 pages of bugs but couldn’t find this particular bug, so I might have overlooked a previous entry. Though help would be appreciated if it isn’t a bug and I am just not looking for it in the correct location within my saved folder of work.

Thanks
Merimde

I checked the list of logged bugs and found:

“Multiple Selected Documents :Snapshots do not work for multiple selected documents”

Which means it has been logged to be fixed in an upcoming version. If you are concerned about backing up your work there is always File -> Backup Project To.

Hi,

The greatest trick I found, is to use CTRL+D, which makes many single snapshots much easier and faster than clicking around
