# SOLVED: Can export and view and edit files into Word, pdf etc but printing just prints coding

I’m using Scrivener 3 on my Mac, and have tried exporting my manuscript so I can format it and physically print it. I have tried exporting as a Word docx and as a webpage, the export looks fine on screen, but when I try to print it just prints pages of code. I tried resaving the exported docs as a pdf but same issue.

I meant to say, I’ve tried printing directly from Scrivener and have had the same issue

Tried to delete this thread as I’ve realised it’s to do with my printer reading the files, not how they’re exporting! Admin please delete

Leaving it as a suggestion that others with the same issue look at their printer first.
