Spacing, zooming and side count?

Just downloaded the beta, and there are a few things I seem not to be able to figure out:

  1. How do I/can I change the spacing (between lines, I find it most comfortable to read with a spacing of 1,5).

  2. How do I/can I make the side count show? (I find it’s practical to know how many pages I’ve written.)

  3. How do I/can I zoom in the text? (As it is I can only make the text more readable on my tiny screen by adjusting the font size, which isn’t very practical if I want to know howmany pages I’ve actually written. As long as I can’t show the side count anyway, that doesn’t really matter, but i hope to be able to, so …)

Hello Salmiak,

Initially, thank you for testing our Scrivener for Windows beta. In answer to your questions:

  1. This is on the beta iteration to-do list. It will naturally be added before release release though.

  2. As you have probably realised, Scrivener is primarily not concerned about pages until compiling. (That said, Scrivener 2.0 on the Mac has added a page view feature, primarily for screenwriters.) But if you go to Project > Project Statistics you can glean page information from there.

  3. I believe that is scheduled for a later beta too. Zoom has been a standard feature on the Mac version since early 1.x days, so should be added soon.

I hope that helps.

All the best,
David
