Hi, I am a PhD student fresh to Scrivener. Sometimes I need to write a paper with two columns, however I cannot find anywhere in the software to divide the page into two columns. Is it only way to add a 2 column tables…Or you have similar design as WORD for make it a easy two columns
There’s no way to write in two columns in Scrivener, but you can compile to two columns (for RTF, .doc, .docx and so on, and for PDF/printing if you select “Proofing” layout under “Print Settings” in Compile). See the “Layout” pane.
All the best,
Very helpful hint!! Thanks a lot!
I’m also a PhD student, and I’d just like to make the desire for a Microsoft Word-like split columns option known.
Thanks, though, for the tip regarding compiling into columns in other apps.
