Split Screen

I know you can split the screen with two Scriv windows, but can you do it with Scriv and a browser window? I would like to take notes from a Web site onto Scriv without having to switch back and forth.

Thanks,
Josh

First, to be clear, Scrivener doesn’t have a “browser” in it. You can import web pages or web archive files into Scrivener, but it is not a browser.

But to answer your question, sure! You can split anything that can be displayed in the Binder. Lots of people use the video and audio player in a second split to transcribe, leave a corkboard open in the second split, web files, PDF files, whatever.

I fiddled with it a while and got it to work for me. Thanks Amber.
