Spotlight in sparsebundles

I use Apple’s sparsebundles to encrypt my Scrivener files (like suggested here: [url]https://forum.literatureandlatte.com/t/password-protection-and-perhaps-some-sort-of-encryption/2776/1]). But Spotlight obviously doesn’t index the content of these files. Spotlight finds the files on mounted bundles by their file names, but not by their content.

Spotlight finds Scrivener files that are save on the HD easily.

For example: When I write “hallabalooza” into a Scrivener file (named “festivals.scriv”) in a mounted sparsebundle, spotlight will find the file when searching for “festivals”, but not when searching for “hallabalooza”. When I move the file to the HD, spotlight will find it in both cases.

If Spotlight can’t access the search.indexes file inside the .scriv file, then it won’t be able to search the contents.
